Kids EQ Empowers Through Emotional Literacy on International Women's Day
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
As the world celebrates International Women's Day, Kids EQ launches a pioneering initiative to address the root causes of societal challenges through Emotional Literacy, aligning with this year's theme of empowerment and equality. In an era marked by significant stress and global upheaval, the need for Emotional Literacy—understanding and managing fundamental emotions like anger, fear, and jealousy—has never been more critical. These unaddressed emotions can lead to a range of issues, from strained relationships to societal conflict and even war.
Founded by the visionary Ayman Sawaf and now led by Rowan Gabrielle, Kids EQ has dedicated over thirty years to developing Emotional Literacy training programs. Today, more than ever, Rowan is expanding these efforts to meet the evolving needs of a society seeking tangible solutions.
"In line with International Women's Day, we recognize the crucial role women and girls play in fostering emotional health within families and communities," states Rowan Gabrielle. "Our Emotional Literacy programs empower individuals with the tools needed for effective emotional management, promoting a more empathetic, understanding, and peaceful world."
As part of this commitment, Kids EQ is proud to announce a series of webinars starting on 8th March—focused on Social Emotional Literacy, demonstrating the organization's dedication to empowering individuals through education and practical tools.
Rowan Gabrielle is available for interviews to discuss the intersection of Emotional Literacy with the goals of International Women's Day and how these combined efforts can contribute to addressing societal issues and advancing equality.
